This series will highlight 3 common errors in a variety of exercises, from powerlifting, to weightlifting, strongman and more, as identified by our Team Juggernaut athletes. Enjoy!
The front squat has helped build my squat and deadlift through building my quad strength and upper back development. Weakness in either of the quads will limit you off the floor in the deadlift, whether pulling sumo or conventional, and of course a lack of quad strength is a huge hindrance in the squat. The upper back is critical to being able to maintain posture during a heavy squat and help finish the lockout during the deadlift. The front squat is a great exercise to develop both of these areas and pack on mass.
